你好!

It has been a while since I updated my blog, so many great things are happening in my life and I am enjoying it all.. so much that I didn’t even update my blog (how bad)! Anyway this upcoming journey is so special for me that it made me blog again (can you imagine how special this journey is going to be?!)

Next week on the 2nd of November I’ll be going to China, the first 5 weeks I’ll be living in Shanghai and the last week I’ll be visiting Beijing. This will be with 30 of my fellow classmates since we are following the INChina program of our University. On this journey I really want to know the answers on the following questions:

  • Where does that huge work ethic of Chinese people come from?
  • How different is the Chinese culture (in Shanghai & Beijing) from the Dutchies?
  • And is basketball in China really that big?
(I already know I have to brush up my ‘basketball skills’!)
I’ll try to shoot a lot of video’s and pictures to share with you and also check out my YouTube channel for recent videos of my journey.
Until then,
再见!

I am curious of how you are going to cope with the continental climate change and thus primary on your health. That seems to be the first thing that pops into my mind, although i know you are quite capable of surviving the harsh conditions in China. I hope you have a lot fun but at the same time return with an acceptable amount of knowledge attained from the locals, which I deeply envy. I think China is suitable for you as I see you as a driven, motivated and intellegent fellow. Business is written in your essence and your eternal presence is granted to the souls of many individuals. Before I say too much, let me congratulate you and wish you (hopefully as the first prior to your departure) a wonderful stay in China and may God and all celestial bodies stay by your side. One Love bro xD

你好!Glad to see someone else is also speaking Mandarin? :)
I am originally from Taiwan, just in case you are wondering. ;)
Shanghai and Beijing are 2 big cities, if you go to more countryside of China, you will find the scenery changed to very different views.

Wish you have an awesome trip!
