Hi Napoleon, thank you! What I ment by that is that you have to build backlinks as well to your personal megafoo links (so actually promote the promoter), in that way you make your backlinks stronger! Let me know if you have more questions my friend

I am a absolute beginner to the backlinks game and that is probably why I’m finding the disclaimer section clear as mud LOL However, I know if I’m puzzled others are too so let me see if I can riddle this out.

When we use commentluv on someone elses blog, it leaves a backlink to our blog. WIthout commentluv, those links were traditionally built by going through forums and other do follow locations and leaving useful comments with our article link either as a constructive addition or as our signature.

So, if I were you, and wanted to make this work…. I would use the forum/do-follow reply method but instead of leaving http://www.yannickvandenbos.com I would leave http://www.megafoo.com/web/yannickvandenbos.com … correct or way out in left field?

Can we also build this by giving our megafoo page a link from our own blog? Perhaps the way you just demonstrated by linking to the page from your own article here?

Yes you are correct; instead of leaving http://www.yannickvandenbos.com you would use http://www.megafoo.com/web/yannickvandenbos.com to build some links to your own directory so you promote the promoter. This make your backlinks stronger.

Now I am excited about this one!

LOL! But even with Kimberly’s great comment and your assurance to that…. I still feel somewhat fuzzy how to use this…

Hi Jodi,

Sure I can, now that you got your own megafoo link, you have to generate some more backlinks to that link.

So in other word you have to promote the promoter of your website.

You can do that by for example: blog commenting, do-follow forum posting, link exchanges, blog networks etc.

Ok, after seeing some of the other comments I am starting to feel like I might be getting closer to understanding this (maybe). So are you linking to your http://www.megafoo.com/web/yannickvandenbos.com in your blog posts?

My other question is how did you get all of the links to your specific posts on your megafoo directory. Are these all of the posts that you have linked to your megafoo link?

I really appreciate you taking so much time to explain this to us. I have to admit that it makes me feel a little better that Kimberly needed some clarification as well.
