It has been a while since my latest post, this because I have been very busy with my (marketing) studies. I really had some very busy periods lately. But I had to post this video I have for you today!

Do not underestimate the power of a top listing on Google or Yahoo. If you plan on staying in business for a long time, the question should not be “Do I spend my time getting high results?” but rather “How many number one placements am I going to get?” Most people are looking for the easy way out, which is why they focus on pay per click. I’m not saying this is a bad strategy, as pay per click can be very lucrative if you know what you are doing.

The problem is that most people jump in head first and have no idea what they are doing, and then end up losing ALL of their money. If you are doing well with pay per click or any other form of advertising for that matter then obviously don’t stop what you are doing. Just start adding to it. If you don’t start applying these techniques you are leaving a lot of money on the table and I have never heard anyone say they are making enough money!

If you have not found any other marketing techniques that work for you then I would recommend starting with the techniques in this report, especially if you have a low budget. Even if you have a lot of money to advertise I would still recommend putting a good amount of your advertising budget into hiring a team of people to do this on your behalf.

The guys from Stompernet put together a great video from which I learned a lot about how powerful high organic listings really were. In fact that video is what really inspired me to write this report and raise awareness about this huge change that is taking place on the internet.

The Stompernet faculty did a study on a group of people where they used really expensive, fancy eye tracking equipment and some other crazy stuff to track where people were looking and clicking when they did a search on Google. In the video they used a heat map to show you the results. It was more than eye opening. For me it was a complete paradigm shift in the entire way I was thinking and marketing.

The amount of people who are drawn to and are more likely to click on the organic listings rather than the paid listings is amazing. I guess when you think about it, it makes sense. When people are using a search engine most of the time they are doing research on something. They are looking for information. We know either consciously or sub-consciously that the sponsored links are going to be advertisements and not really the information that we were searching for.

So why waste our time with them? Think about it-how often do you go searching for an advertisement? I can’t think of a single time when I actually went out looking for an ad unless it was a funny commercial I was showing someone or something like that.

I always knew the obvious, that these methods are free and can bring a lot of traffic. I had no idea, however, how much quality traffic they truly had the potential to bring or how much they would help increase your bottom line. The best part is all the traffic that comes directly from the web 2.0 sites is pre sold. They already want to buy your product before you even offer it to them because of the very content that drove them to your site in the first place.

Google has been around for awhile and is trusted by most people to provide them with the most relevant and valuable information based on their search. So when you have a top 10 listing on Google, it’s like Google, one of the most trusted names on the Internet, is vouching for you and your site. That’s MASSIVE!!!

Not only that but the demographics but the quality of people that are more likely to click on an organic listing vs. a paid link are pretty amazing. High school kids are much more likely to click on the sponsored ads at the top than anything else. So unless that is your target market that’s probably not where you want your ad.

The final piece of the puzzle is commitment. You must commit yourself to action in order to reach your goals. Simply dreaming and envisioning about your life will do nothing to improve it. If you don’t have perseverance, no amount of talent, genius and education will help you.

Commit yourself to your goals 100% , and you will enjoy unbounded success.

As promised before I would explain the Hedgehog concept, since in my last post there was a comment from Linda, asking what the Hedgehog Principle is.

The hedgehog concept is based on three circles, all of the same size and all equally important. Those three circles intersect in the middle, and this is the place where you should aim.

The first circle in hedgehog concept involves what you can be the best at. This is not meant to be a goal, or strategy, an intention or a plan. It is a clear statement of fact, developed by honestly looking which area you can shine. It is just as important to define the areas in which you are lacking skills.

This isn’t necessarily related to your abilities in a given area. You may be very good at math, but that doesn’t mean that you can be the best person in the world at math, even with great effort. Keep in mind that what you could be the best at may also be something you’re not doing right now. Before there were computers, how did Bill Gates know that he was the best in the world?

The second circle asks what is driving your economic engine. Discover the single denominator which gives you profits while allowing you to pursue your passion.

In the third circle, you discover what your are deeply passionate about. Ask yourself this question: if you are making all the money you could need, and you were doing this job, would you still come to work? When you can say to yourself. “I’m the luckiest person on earth right now. I was made for this job!”, you truly have it made.

The most important thing is in the middle, at the intersection of these three circles. If you could live your life in that place, you will have it made. You will be doing something that works with your core competency, something you can be the very best in the world at. You’re deeply passionate about your work and can’t believe you’re getting paid for this. That passion and joy drives your economic engine.

You wan to be right in the center of the hedgehog concept. It’s no good having two out of three … you want it all! If you are passionate about what you’re doing and good at it, but there’s no money to be made, you are going to be very frustrated. If you’re good at what you do and you’re making lots of money, but you hate your job, it’s not worth it. If there’s money to be made in an industry that you are passionate about, but you aren’t any good at it, that can be frustrating too. So we want to stay in the intersection of these three circles.

Of course, that will mean research on your part. Look for you hedgehog concept, while seeking the intersection of those three circles. Everything that you do should lead you towards the intersection. When it happens, you’ll find that this guides not only your business choices, but your life choices as well.

I thought I will share this KILLER Twitter Trick with my community, this trick SO simple but yet so powerful that without using any script you will get hundreds of people following you day and night.

So lets get started..

Getting Followers at Twitter can be pain in butt, you can use some tools to automate your work, but not everyone will follow you back. But with this trick people will follow you, no need to beg or follow them. These people will find you and follow you..

Step by Step

1. Find the guru’s/leaders in your industry.
This is most important part of this Twitter trick, finding the leaders in the industry that people would want to follow. Since I am in the network marketing & social media industry I would say people like: Mike Dillard, Frank Kern, Anthony Robbins, Jonathan Budd, Maria Andros, Gary Vaynerchuk and the list goes on..

TIP: it’s not the quantity. it’s the quality that counts! Sure a bigger following will improve your social proof, but in the end of the day you want to have all your following to do a certain action. So if you are creating a big following, you have to connect with all of them!

2. Select 10 people that you want to target, or in other words 10 people that you want to follow and are targeted for your industry. Tweeters with 20-30k+ followers are usually great to target.

3. Open 10 tabs and in each tab you must have each profile open, so tab 1 = profile 1, tab 2 = profile 2, so on and so forth so you have 10 tabs with 10 twitter profiles of top 10 industry leaders.

4. Now follow all of them, one by one follow all the 10.

5. Now here is the TRICK, every time you follow someone your name comes on top of their list of followers, so anyone who is following them will follow you, anyone who is following their followers will follow you first, anyone checking their profile will check your profile, anyone that sees their twit see yours first, so if you have 10 profiles and you keep following and unfollowing them every 5 minutes within x minutes/hours you will have 200-300 people following you.

How this works?
Basically top 10 tweeters get 1000s and 1000s of adds every hour (not only that they get thousands and thousands of visitors to their profile), and when they are adding they check their followers so if you are on top of their list they follow you as well. Or if anyone else is using bot to follow the followers of these top 10 you will be the first one they will follow.

This works all the time, whats even funnier, YOUR PROFILE gets a high PR backlink..
