How to Make a YouTube Video

Posted by | Social Media Marketing, YouTube | No Comments

Are you interested in making your own videos to upload to YouTube and to share with the restof the internet community? If you are and if this is your first time trying to do so, you may be wondering how you can go about making your own videos. Although the process of making a YouTube video may seem like a complicated one, it isn’t necessarily. Even those with a low amount of computer knowledge are able to successfully make their own videos, many of which later end up on YouTube.

The first step in making a YouTube video is to get a video recording device. Video recording devices come in a number of different formats. For instance, it is possible to use cell phones, webcams, or traditional camcorders. If you are interested in using your cell phone to help you make a YouTube video, you will need to make sure that your cell phone has video recording capabilities. You will find that most new, modern cell phones do.

For the best quality videos, you want to use traditional camcorders, particularly digital ones, but webcams are also nice low-cost alternatives.

Once you have a video recording device in your possession, you can start to make your own videos. Popular videos on YouTube include video blogs, comedy skits, how-to videos, or travel videos. You can make just about whatever type of video you want, whether it is one that is staged or just recording spur of the moment activities or conversations. When making a YouTube video, it is important to remember that YouTube doesn’t limit the number of videos you can submit, but all videos must be ten minutes or less, if you have a traditional YouTube membership account. Therefore, if you want to have videos be longer than ten minutes, you either need to upgrade your account or make your videos in different segments.

When making your YouTube video, you will want to make sure that the quality is good. For this, it is a good idea to speak directly into the camera or else use raised voices. This will help to ensure that those watching your videos on YouTube can actually understand what you are saying. It is also advised that you make sure the lighting is good. The best time to make movies is during the day. If you want to make your movies at night, whether they take place inside or outdoors, you will want to make sure that you have the appropriate amount of lighting. Nothing is worse that watching a video that is hard to see.

Although there are a number of steps, like the ones mentioned above, which you can take to ensure that your YouTube videos are quality ones, there is a way that you can fix problems later on. You can do this with movie editing software. Moving editing software allows you to preview and edit your videos, should you wish to do so before uploading them to YouTube. If you have a relatively new computer, you should be able to find movie editing software already on your computer. If you are unable to find movie editing software, you should be able to get free software programs or even purchase deluxe software programs online or from one of your local media stores.

The decision as to whether or not you want to edit your videos, before sharing them on YouTube, is yours to make, but it is advised that you at least look into doing so, especially if your computer already has a movie editing program. You will want to watch your movies and see if there is anything that you would like to edit, change, or remove. If so, the time to do it is before you post your video on the YouTube website. Editing your YouTube videos or at least previewing them first is likely to improve their quality, which, in turn, will help to improve the exposure that your YouTube videos get. Many YouTube members share videos that they find interesting with those that they know and your videos may be one of them.

3 Reasons to Be Consistent With Your Blog Posts

Posted by | Blogging, Social Media Marketing | 2 Comments

Hey guys, it’s been a while since my last post as I’ve been working on some awesome projects which are beginning to take off, so stay tuned. In the mean time I’ve received quite a few messages from visitors wondering why I haven’t been posting and it made me realise something very important – Consistency is vital when blogging!

I thought it would be appropriate to address this topic as I plan on posting a lot more regular from here on out, so I’ve been looking at why consistency is so important! And here is my conclusion –

No. 1 – Traffic Flow

When you drive traffic to your blog your visitors will hopefully be engaged and responsive to your posts, once you have the ball rolling you want to keep that flow of traffic coming and that is called momentum. If those same visitors come back and see nothing new there is nothing for them to engage with and they will keep their visits to your blog less frequent resulting in a decrease in regular traffic.

No. 2 – Building a Community

Building a loyal following is vital for many reasons, the main being content syndication! By posting regular, the frequent visitors you have will be more inclined to share your content which will lead to further exposure. If you stop the flow of valuable content you may lose that loyal following and decrease your blog community resulting in a decline in Social proof and further exposure!

No. 3 – Personal Branding

At all times your personal brand is being marked by visitors. What does this mean? Your personal brand is not just your blogs visual aspects, your name and niche! Your brand is you as a person and your reputation. If you post once a month, you may find yourself with a reputation of being a lazy value adder which will be linked to your personal brand and that’s how you will be perceived by others. Build a reputation of adding value to the community and others on a regular basis and your personal brand will portray you as someone of consistent value who wants to spread their message as often as possible and change lives!

So lesson learned guys, although I have been working on some other projects which will also benefit others in the long term, I have remembered my responsibility to add value to your lives through my blog and plan to take that responsibility to a new level.

Hope this post helps you to take responsibility of your own followers, share if you found value and leave your feedback as we need to catch up!

Til next time…

*Secret* Twitter Trick That Can Get You 827+ Followers In 1 Day

Posted by | Social Media Marketing, Twitter | 31 Comments

Hello my friends!

I thought I will share this KILLER Twitter Trick with my community, this trick SO simple but yet so powerful that without using any script you will get hundreds of people following you day and night.

So lets get started..

Getting Followers at Twitter can be pain in butt, you can use some tools to automate your work, but not everyone will follow you back. But with this trick people will follow you, no need to beg or follow them. These people will find you and follow you..

Step by Step

1. Find the guru’s/leaders in your industry.
This is most important part of this Twitter trick, finding the leaders in the industry that people would want to follow. Since I am in the network marketing & social media industry I would say people like: Mike Dillard, Frank Kern, Anthony Robbins, Jonathan Budd, Maria Andros, Gary Vaynerchuk and the list goes on..

or if you just want to have LOTS of friends you can pick the top 10 twitter users below:

http://twittercounter.com/pages/100

TIP: it’s not the quantity. it’s the quality that counts! Sure a bigger following will improve your social proof, but in the end of the day you want to have all your following to do a certain action. So if you are creating a big following, you have to connect with all of them!

2. Select 10 people that you want to target, or in other words 10 people that you want to follow and are targeted for your industry. Tweeters with 20-30k+ followers are usually great to target.

3. Open 10 tabs and in each tab you must have each profile open, so tab 1 = profile 1, tab 2 = profile 2, so on and so forth so you have 10 tabs with 10 twitter profiles of top 10 industry leaders.

4. Now follow all of them, one by one follow all the 10.

5. Now here is the TRICK, every time you follow someone your name comes on top of their list of followers, so anyone who is following them will follow you, anyone who is following their followers will follow you first, anyone checking their profile will check your profile, anyone that sees their twit see yours first, so if you have 10 profiles and you keep following and unfollowing them every 5 minutes within x minutes/hours you will have 200-300 people following you.

How this works?
Basically top 10 tweeters get 1000s and 1000s of adds every hour (not only that they get thousands and thousands of visitors to their profile), and when they are adding they check their followers so if you are on top of their list they follow you as well. Or if anyone else is using bot to follow the followers of these top 10 you will be the first one they will follow.

This works all the time, whats even funnier, YOUR PROFILE gets a high PR backlink..

As usual post your questions in the comment section and show me some twitterlove.

Yours in True Success,

P.S.- so once again, follow and unfollow do this again and again.

No need to pay 500-600 USD for software. THIS REALLY WORKS. And no GURU will share this trick with you..
