Do not underestimate the power of a top listing on Google or Yahoo. If you plan on staying in business for a long time, the question should not be "Do I spend my time getting high results?" but rather "How many number one placements am I going to get?" Most people are looking for the easy way out, which is why they focus on pay per click. I'm not saying this is a bad strategy, as pay per click can be very lucrative if you know what you are doing.

The problem is that most people jump in head first and have no idea what they are doing, and then end up losing ALL of their money. If you are doing well with pay per click or any other form of advertising for that matter then obviously don't stop what you are doing. Just start adding to it. If you don't start applying these techniques you are leaving a lot of money on the table and I have never heard anyone say they are making enough money!

If you have not found any other marketing techniques that work for you then I would recommend starting with the techniques in this report, especially if you have a low budget. Even if you have a lot of money to advertise I would still recommend putting a good amount of your advertising budget into hiring a team of people to do this on your behalf.

The guys from Stompernet put together a great video from which I learned a lot about how powerful high organic listings really were. In fact that video is what really inspired me to write this report and raise awareness about this huge change that is taking place on the internet.

The Stompernet faculty did a study on a group of people where they used really expensive, fancy eye tracking equipment and some other crazy stuff to track where people were looking and clicking when they did a search on Google. In the video they used a heat map to show you the results. It was more than eye opening. For me it was a complete paradigm shift in the entire way I was thinking and marketing.

The amount of people who are drawn to and are more likely to click on the organic listings rather than the paid listings is amazing. I guess when you think about it, it makes sense. When people are using a search engine most of the time they are doing research on something. They are looking for information. We know either consciously or sub-consciously that the sponsored links are going to be advertisements and not really the information that we were searching for.

So why waste our time with them? Think about it-how often do you go searching for an advertisement? I can't think of a single time when I actually went out looking for an ad unless it was a funny commercial I was showing someone or something like that.

I always knew the obvious, that these methods are free and can bring a lot of traffic. I had no idea, however, how much quality traffic they truly had the potential to bring or how much they would help increase your bottom line. The best part is all the traffic that comes directly from the web 2.0 sites is pre sold. They already want to buy your product before you even offer it to them because of the very content that drove them to your site in the first place.

So why waste our time with them? Think about it-how often do you go searching for an advertisement? I can't think of a single time when I actually went out looking for an ad unless it was a funny commercial I was showing someone or something like that.

Google has been around for awhile and is trusted by most people to provide them with the most relevant and valuable information based on their search. So when you have a top 10 listing on Google, it's like Google, one of the most trusted names on the Internet, is vouching for you and your site. That's MASSIVE!!!

Not only that but the demographics but the quality of people that are more likely to click on an organic listing vs. a paid link are pretty amazing. High school kids are much more likely to click on the sponsored ads at the top than anything else. So unless that is your target market that's probably not where you want your ad.

I know what some of you may be thinking right now. But no, this really works!

Go to http://www.megafoo.com/free-links/ and submit your homepage URL in the box.

Your URL will then be submitted to 42+ whois, alexa, HTML validator type of sites along with a few others.

What you'll get is a directory page that looks like this: Yannick van den Bos.

Do you notice all of the links to the sites on the left? Your domain now has a page on these sites.

*NOW HERE'S THE MOST IMPORTANT PART*

You're going to have to give your URL at Megafoo some links so that all
of these pages get indexed by Google and counted as backlinks.

If you just submit your URL and leave it at that this will do nothing for you.

Feel free to leave any questions in the comment section below, I will be happy to answer each question you got!

Today I am like to talk about HTML Validation and why it is so important to validate your HTML. I will not go very deep into HTML since I will give you a GREAT resource where you can literally see what you have to edit on YOUR website to validate your HTML.

HTML Validation has done miracles to many of my "money magnet websites". I have multiple first page listings on very competitives keywords.

I have many tricks in my magic box that get me on the first page of Google, Yahoo, Bing and other smaller search engines. And HTML Validation is one of them.

Why You Should Validate Your HTML
Ranking in the search engines is all about quality content so they can index and put it in front of the eyes of the visitors that are looking for such content.

But in order to see if you provide quality content, the search engines needs to scan your website. So this is the part where HTML Validation comes in:
1. Is your site well written in proper HTML code?
2. Is the loading time of your website fast enough?
3. Is your site even accessible for the search engines?

These are just some questions to think about..

Want to see if you validate? Go to the W3C validator and enter in your URL. It will tell you what’s wrong with your site and give you suggestions on how to fix it.

Yours in True Success,
